Rich was introduced to a cappella singing at the age of 10. He spent numerous summers at music camps under the choral direction of his father and mother. As a sophomore, he sang in the barbershop quartet in his high school's musical production of the Music Man in Villa Park, California. Since joining the Barbershop Harmony Society at the age of 15, he has dedicated a considerable portion of his life in pursuit of an internal sense of harmony and musicality. Having sung in various successful ensembles on the International competition stage, he currently sings in the International Chorus Champion, "Masters of Harmony," and performs regularly with the comedy quartet, “Chords Gone Wild.” Rich’s talents keep him up front, as well. He has directed various choruses in both the Sweet Adelines International and BHS since 1992. He is currently the Musical Director of the Mission Viejo Sweet Adeline Chorus. He is also a Music category judge and a highly skilled arranger and sought-after coach. Father of Mathew and Abigail, Rich makes his home in Garden Grove, CA, with his wife, Kristin. |
